My name is Linnea Hietala and I am a student intern from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. I grew up in Wisconsin surrounded by nature, pets, and the arts (name it - I’ve done it). I am always listening to something, whether it’s music or a podcast, and love to enhance an otherwise mundane day with a soundtrack. I spent the majority of my teenagehood wearing earbuds and questioning if I was in the right place at the right time. That version of myself, which is admittedly not distant, wanted nothing more than to feel like she belonged. The motif of belonging is what drew me to the Anna Jinja Show.
